Scott Fridley

Founder & Attorney at Law

Scott Fridley is the founder and principal attorney of Fridley Law Firm, where he focuses his practice on trust and probate litigation, estate and trust administration, and estate planning.

Licensed to practice law in California since 2003, Scott brings more than two decades of legal and litigation experience to his clients. Throughout his career, he has represented individuals, families, trustees, beneficiaries, executors, conservators, and other fiduciaries in matters ranging from contested trust and probate proceedings to complex financial and property disputes. He has substantial courtroom and trial experience and has successfully resolved significant matters through both litigation and negotiated settlements, including cases resulting in multimillion-dollar recoveries for his clients.

Scott’s approach combines practical problem-solving with a strong understanding of the financial issues that often lie at the center of trust and estate disputes. Before attending law school, Scott earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of La Verne in 1995, graduating with honors. His accounting background provides a valuable foundation for analyzing fiduciary accountings, tracing assets, evaluating financial transactions, and addressing the complex property and financial issues that frequently arise in trust and probate matters. Scott later earned his Juris Doctor from Whittier College School of Law in Costa Mesa, California.

As the principal attorney of Fridley Law Firm, Scott is committed to providing strategic, results-oriented representation while maintaining a practical and personal approach to each case. He understands that trust and probate matters often involve more than legal and financial issues – they can involve deeply personal family relationships and difficult circumstances. Scott works closely with his clients to understand their objectives, protect their interests, and develop a strategy tailored to the particular circumstances of each matter.
