Scott Fridley is the founder and principal attorney of Fridley Law Firm, where he focuses his practice on trust and probate litigation, estate and trust administration, and estate planning.
Licensed to practice law in California since 2003, Scott brings more than two decades of legal and litigation experience to his clients. Throughout his career, he has represented individuals, families, trustees, beneficiaries, executors, conservators, and other fiduciaries in matters ranging from contested trust and probate proceedings to complex financial and property disputes. He has substantial courtroom and trial experience and has successfully resolved significant matters through both litigation and negotiated settlements, including cases resulting in multimillion-dollar recoveries for his clients.
Scott’s approach combines practical problem-solving with a strong understanding of the financial issues that often lie at the center of trust and estate disputes. Before attending law school, Scott earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of La Verne in 1995, graduating with honors. His accounting background provides a valuable foundation for analyzing fiduciary accountings, tracing assets, evaluating financial transactions, and addressing the complex property and financial issues that frequently arise in trust and probate matters. Scott later earned his Juris Doctor from Whittier College School of Law in Costa Mesa, California.

Solyneth “Soly” Chneang is an Associate Attorney at Fridley Law Firm, where she represents individuals, families, trustees, beneficiaries, and fiduciaries in probate, trust administration, estate planning, and contested estate matters. Her practice includes trust and will contests, breach of fiduciary duty claims, trustee disputes, contested accountings, financial elder abuse, undue influence, asset recovery, and disputes involving real property and business interests.
Soly approaches each matter with careful preparation, strategic judgment, and a strong commitment to protecting her clients’ interests. She understands that probate and trust matters are rarely limited to legal or financial concerns—they often involve deeply personal family relationships, significant assets, and the legacy of a loved one. She works closely with her clients to explain complex issues clearly, identify practical options, and develop a focused strategy designed around their goals.
Before entering the legal profession, Soly built an extensive career in real estate, business development, contract negotiation, and financial analysis. She has more than 18 years of real estate experience and holds an active California real estate broker’s license. This background gives her a valuable perspective in matters involving trust and estate property, ownership disputes, title issues, property transfers, sales, valuations, and other asset-driven controversies.
Soly earned her Juris Doctor from Concord Law School at Purdue University Global and is licensed to practice law throughout the State of California. She is known for her attention to detail, thoughtful problem-solving, responsive communication, and ability to navigate complicated matters with both determination and compassion.

Jose Michel is an Associate Attorney of the Fridley Law Firm whose practice focuses on probate, trust, and civil litigation matters. He is dedicated to guiding clients through complex legal disputes with professionalism, diligence, and a practical approach to problem-solving.
Jose earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a minor in International Relations, from Loyola Marymount University in 2018. He subsequently received his Juris Doctor from Western State College of Law in 2021.
During law school, Mr. Michel gained valuable judicial experience as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Craig Griffin at the Orange County Superior Court in Fullerton. This experience provided him with a unique understanding of courtroom procedures and judicial decision-making.
Jose also developed an international legal perspective while serving as a Summer Associate with Cho & Partners, a leading international law firm in Seoul, South Korea. There, he assisted attorneys in representing global clients, including Apple, LVMH, Adidas, and BMW, in intellectual property enforcement matters.
Prior to law school, Jose interned with the Center for Juvenile Law and Policy in Los Angeles, where he supported attorneys and legal professionals in representing youth involved in the justice system and gained firsthand exposure to courtroom advocacy and client representation.
Jose is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and is committed to providing effective and practical legal representation to clients throughout Southern California.
He is also an Eagle Scout, a distinction that reflects his longstanding commitment to leadership, service, and community involvement.
Jose is proficient in Spanish, allowing him to effectively assist Spanish-speaking clients and their families.
